Wines
Visitors can both taste and purchase wines produced in the Murray Shire from the one convenient location. The Mathoura Visitor & Business Centre invites people to taste the many local wines that are on sale within the Centre.
Visitors can also explore the Perricoota Wine Region, with nearly a dozen Cellar Doors open within a 30km radius of Mathoura.

Home Grown Produce
Jenny Fisher’s famous seedless mandarins, which are grown on her family’s 450-tree orchard on the Gulpa Creek, can be found at the Redgum Mandarin Stall on the Cobb Highway. Other produce available includes gourmet lettuce, vegetables and herbs, hydroponic tomatoes, oils, eggs, local honey, cookies and a huge array of home-made preserves.

Cafés
The Old Gold Café and the Parkside Café, both in Livingstone Street, are all you need for substantial, tasty lunches, snacks, refreshing cold drinks, or great tea and coffee.

Club
With so much going on all week, Mathoura District and Servicemen’s Bowling Club is a real social hub. Along with its bowling green, the Club offers TAB and Keno, a bottle shop, Redgum Bistro, Kid’s Room and a Function Room seating up to 200, with a stage and juke box. Pubs
The historic Pastoral Hotel, known as ‘the middle’, dates back close to the 1900s and today boasts a country ambience with its pool table and darts.

Built in 1927, the Tattersalls Club Hotel is known to locals as the ‘bottom pub’ and is popular for functions and the coziness of its open fire.

Both pubs provide great cold beer and delicious meals.
