Bird Observary
A boardwalk and bird hide to look out accross the wetlands teaming with bird life. During Late spring many of the birds are nesting and with benoclures nests can be seen in the reed beds.
The recently constructed Gulpa Creek Reed Beds Bird Observatory is located approximately 4km from town. This world class observation facility provides accessible viewing of exceptional birdlife and the magnificent Gulpa Creek Reed Beds. For many years bird enthusiasts have been returning to the area to explore the unique birdlife of the forest.

How to get there: The bird observatory is just 6kms along the Picnic Point Rd. there is parking next to the boardwalk.
